Meet Sarah
Where it all began…
I’m Sarah (Mrs F, owner of Cakes by Mrs F) lover of all things pink, pretty and cake decorating! I have always loved baking, this began when my Nan taught me to bake as a little girl. Lots of my recipes belong to my lovely Nan! In fact, when I visited her in her care home, she told all the staff that “we” ran a cake business together, she was very proud!
Where things got a little bit crazy…
When two families became one in 2005, things got a little bit busy and my washing pile was bigger than ever before! Mr F was working hard in the office and I was getting six kids up and out ready for school. The cakes quickly turned from a hobby into an ever growing business that fit perfectly around our big, busy family.
Cakes by Mrs F today…
Fast forward a few years - our baby is 16, our eldest is 28 - and a few hundred wedding cakes later. Cakes by Mrs F is being run from our family home in Chippenham. It can be a little crazy sometimes, but I wouldn’t have it any other way!
