Step by Step Guide

Step 1: Get in touch

On first contact we will ask you a few questions to check we are the right fit for you. We will check availability and that we deliver to your lovely wedding venue!

Step 2: Introduction

If we have availability and deliver to your venue, we will send you through our Introductory Pack. This is essentially a guide to how we work, pricing, portion guides and all things Cakes by Mrs F.

Step 3: Save the Date

We require a £35.00 ‘save the date’ payment which puts your date into our diary. Our T&C’s should be read through in full before proceeding to secure your date.

Step 4: Design & Consultation

Depending what sort of cake you are looking at having for your special day we will either invite you for a consultation or send you over a questionnaire.

Step 5: Quotation

Based on your conversation with Sarah, she will design you your dream cake! Sarah is unable to re-create other cake artists work but is happy to discuss inspiration ideas. We will send this over to you and all you need to do is let us know you are happy with the design!

Step 6: Final Details

Around 6 weeks before your special day we will ask you to confirm some finer details e.g. flavours, timings and anything else we need to know. Final payment is due one month prior to your wedding date.

Step 7: Your Special Day

We will liaise with your venue and florist if necessary to arrange timings for delivery and set up. We’ll disappear and you get to enjoy your special day and most importantly, the delicious cake!
