Sarah and Amy from Cakes By Mrs F were amazing from start to finish. They came recommended from a family friend. The initial consultation, the cake samples and the communication throughout were brilliant. Their pricing was fair and they there were no hidden costs. They were amazing at replying even the evening before the wedding when I was checking that the setup would be easy between them and the wedding stylist. On the day, we got the cake of our dreams - I mean just look at these photos! Everyone, including all of the other suppliers, commented on how stunning it was. Our wedding cake was one of the most beautiful cakes we have ever seen and it tasted incredible. Each layer was a different flavour and they were all so delicious. The sugar flowers were intricate and beautiful and finished our cake off perfectly. We had so many compliments from guests about how delicious and incredible it looked. Sarah and Amy were a dream in the planning process. They are always so friendly and helpful and made the whole experience even more enjoyable. We also had biscuit favours made by Sarah that were personalised to our wedding. I would recommend cakes by Mrs F to everyone.

After attending wedding show after wedding show, trying dry expensive cakes we found Mrs F - she baked the best cake we had tasted, was reasonably priced, and was such an enthusiastic lovely person; we signed up on the spot! Her attention to detail and approach for getting you involved in the tasting process and cake selection could not have been faulted. Even though we had to change our wedding date due to covid, Sarah was unphased and gave us one less thing to worry about. The cake stood tall, and looked magnificent at our wedding breakfast. Simple, delicious and wolfed down by every guest. Top tip, pick a different flavour for every layer, and remember to get in there before all your guests and eat as much as you can! Her taster cake slices were to die for and I couldn't pull my (now) husband away from her table! Cakes by Mrs F (Sarah and Amy) were the dream suppliers for our wedding. They re-arranged our date with no hassle or additional cost. We came with some designs in mind and they were created perfectly. There were so many flavours to choose from. We were sent a tasting selection in the post which was fun (and ideal to fit in with our schedule as we aren't local). We had 4 flavours - chocolate and salted caramel, lemon meringue, red velvet and ferrero rocher. The guests said they had to try all the flavours and we didn't have as much left as we thought we would!”

She has been amazing throughout the whole process! We first met Sarah at a wedding fair and she was incredibly welcoming, answered all of our questions and instantly made us feel at ease, not to mention the delicious cakes she had on offer.

We especially appreciated her gluten free range, and it being so diverse with flavours and options for this dietary requirement. Such a great experience from the start - Sarah is so lovely and once you’ve tasted even just one of her many flavours of cake, you will be blown away! One of the easiest choices I made during all our wedding planning - deciding on the flavour(s) was much trickier lol. We had a micro wedding and cake this year due to covid but are super excited for next year already and can’t imagine our wedding day without Sarah’s cake and biscuits which put a smile on everyone’s faces especially our 6 year old bridesmaid who picked the biggest biscuit every time she was offered!!
